Alan Ritson

Alan Ritson presented our first show when we went on air in 2010 and for the first couple of years he presented three-hour daytime shows alongside his specialist folk show. He still presents Fine Folk on Tuesday evenings.

Alan has recorded over 1,300 interviews; these are all stored at Cecil Sharp House in London where anyone may listen to them. He presents live concerts at Southside (formerly St. Katherine’s Church) in Lincoln featuring the biggest names in the folk world. In his seventies, he still works full time for Lindum Group Ltd. so life is always busy for Alan and, as he says, “long may all that continue”!
